Foundations

Real Life Church exist to make disciples. One of the ways we do this is through our weekly initiative entitled “Foundations.” We are excited to offer the opportunity for you to grow in your walk with God. During these four weeks, our hope is for you to learn the tools to assist you in becoming an ever growing disciple of Jesus Christ. Our hope is for you to know God more, grow in freedom, and share the hope of Jesus with everyone you meet.

Week One

Objective: In the first week of Foundations, our goal is to define what it means to be a Christ-follower. God’s Word says in many different ways that we have become a new creation in Christ. In this class we will learn about what that means and who we are. We will also discuss what Christianity is not. In Christ you are Accepted, Secure, and Significant.

Week Two

Objective: In the second week of Foundations, our goal is to help you discover how to connect with God. God is great. He has created the Heavens and the Earth. He is also good. He wants to be experienced and known. We can encounter God daily through spiritual disciplines. In this class, we will discover the joy of SOAP Bible reading, prayer, giving, serving, community, and more.

Week Three

Objective: In the third week of Foundations, our goal is to help you discover a proper worldview framework to grapple with the difficult questions of life. Have you ever thought about how you ask questions? Have you ever had a question about God and didn’t even know where to begin unraveling it? We will discuss how to ask good questions and how to search them out. As a Christian we embrace the opportunity to have well-informed faith that is strong enough to handle tough questions.

Week Four

Objective: In the final week of Foundations, our goal is to help you understand how to share your faith journey with someone else. Everyone is on a journey from where they are to where God is taking them. Your story is amazing. God is painting a masterpiece through your life. In this class, we will help you learn to craft your life into the true story of God’s faithfulness and goodness. Not only will you be able to see your story from God’s point-of-view, but you will also understand how to share your story with others so they can experience the goodness of God too.
